Default I love my car

I bought her on July 6th. 2009 Bullitt with 53 miles on the odometer.

Fearing motor wear/tear I've been a good little boy for the past 348 miles. Haven't done a burnout or nothing.

Only bit of "abuse" I've done was a quick powershift to 2nd that layed her sideways...3-4 times only though

Tonight I came up against a 07 Charger R/T and couldn't help myself.
came off the light HARD spinning tires till 5,000 RPM when I shifted and layed down more rubber through 2nd until I shifted to 3rd.

she chirped it a bit and then hooked.
The Charger wasn't expecting it I think...he gunned it, but the smokeshow and noise was amazing.

I was happy with my car previously...but damn. I love Ford. They hit the mark with my car.
I cannot wait to get a tuner and some fun tunes

and some wider tires...235 width is crap

Sounds fun, i chirp second every now and then but never take off like you described. I dont drop it at mid rpm though, i just let the clutch out and floor it from idle. Takes a 1/2 second to get going but doesnt slam my clutch or leave my tires on the road

I might be sporting a RoushCharger come tax time

But damn. If that is what this thing is like with a tight new motor...it should be even more fun with a broken-in motor in it's stride.

I do need to wear out my tires though. I cannot justify new ones while the current ones are good. I'm a bit of a cheapskate.

Well congrats on popping your Mustang's cherry my friend! Get an SCT tuner, Cold Air Intake, and a tune from either Brenspeed or Bamachips and you will see how much more you love your car, it's the best $600-$700 you can spend. Period.

The only bad is in the installation, like everyone else says, take it to a reputable shop. Do it right the first time and you will never have a problem with it all my guys down here recommended it to me as well as Doug at Bama and Brian at Brenspeed, as these are the only TC's they suggest for their customers.

Tylus, your rear tires will be worn out before you know it. Start saving now.
