Default S/C 04 GT Vs. 01 Camaro SS (?)

A couple of you guys have seen that my buddy got his car blown this week, and one of the races he wanted was against our friend who has a Camaro SS.

GT Mods: Vortech S/C, light suspension, O/R X, flowmasters 342 rwhp (I think)

SS Mods: Fully built bottom end, intake, tune, cut outs, unknown rwhp

Now they both decided they were gonna do a 50 roll for the first run, but never decided who was gonna honk off. There are two stories, one from each guy.

GT Story: Didn't hear the honk off over both exhausts, and he had a delay start because he went when he heard the SS hit it. He said he dropped back because of the jump, but by 100 he was even with the camaro before they had to shut down due to traffic.

SS Story: Doesn't think the GT didn't hear the honk off, and says that the GT never caught back up. He said that the only reason the GT caught up was because he let off because of traffic ahead, but after the first second no one gained on each other or left each other.

HE SAID SHE SAID! The only way we will find out is if someone is out there with them and I'm either gonna video from one of the cars or ride behind in mine.

What story do you guys think was the likely one and what do you think should happen?

+1, why does the SS have a fully built bottom-end? Is he planning a big shot of NOZ or some FI?

I believe the Camaro won because it's a Chevy.

Sounds like you are going to need a third car video taping another race.
