Stopped at a light, nothing in front of us for miles. Turn lane at the intersection, great I can use that as a tree. Clutch in, first gear, let off the brake, good no roll back. Light turns green, dump the clutch, punch it (**** broke loose, counter steer, keep on it, good its straight). 5k, engine roaring, clutch in, slap into 2nd, dump it (**** broke again, I really need to work on the rear and new tires). 4500, engine still roaring, clutch again, 3rd gear, vitals still good, didnt break loose. Start pulling on him, its getting closer..... He backs off, let up, get back down to the speed limit, where did my CEL go out? lol. Two cars behind, the end result, not to bad I knew I couldnt keep anyways. He waves, I give a thumbs up for a good run, we go our separate ways.

I think I did ok considering the competition, still fun in the end and gave me hopes whenever my co-worker will balls up with his 370.

What was the GT-R doing during this time?

13.20's with 2.25-2.30 60's, 40+ year old suspension sucks!
Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.

two cars ahead of me he did spin the tires off the line, but not as much as me. Think it was an auto to, didnt hear/see any signs of manual shifting.

He was messing with you. Good run though. You need a lot of work done to come close to one of those.

They have a computer/paddle shifted semi-automatic/manual, or you can use the shift selector to "shift it."

lol, what is it??? $80K or so for one of those...yeah, i'd say they live up to their hype considering that motortrend had to use a porsche, ZR1, and ferrari to compare it to. I bet it was fun but it would take some serious work to touch one.

I've only seen maybe three of them on the road since they came out. I would've done the same thing, lol!

Well I do have plans for a twin turbo set up, but thats years down the road. He may still be around, hes is on another boat but idk for how much longer.
