word of advice... launching a V-twin properly is half the battle in learning

it's pretty easy to launch a 600CC inline 4 because you have a whole 17ft lbs of torque and all one would need to do is go half throttle lean forward and hit WOT @ like 10MPH.

a V-twin bike however.... a V-twin sports bike doesn't have the extra weight of a cruiser, while that might be good in one hand for weight savings it's also 70ft lbs of torque @ 3000RPM only carrying 400lbs (at least on the bike I'm getting)... so I'd find a huge parking lot and find your sweet spot from a dig (RPM and weight distribution with your body) before you try and shut the kid up

Yeah especially since the bike I'm currently on is a TORQUE MONSTER 200cc unibanger!

I'll be taking things REAL slow for the first few months, just like when I upgraded from a Dodge Neon to the Mustang GT.
