S197 GT VS Crossfire SRT6

I'm racing a Chrysler Crossfire tommorow. Owner is a newb, he claims he kept up with a Z06 (C6) and would absolutely destroy my Mustang. Was pissed and called him out for a $200 race. Starting to regret it, but too late to back out now. Not sure if it's a SRT6, only know it's a convertible and automatic. I'll be sure to post the vid. Pretty sure i'll him if its the stock 3.2 crossfire. Posted SRT6 as a worst case scenario.

You couldn't get the SRT-6 in a vert and the run of the mill ones have something like 215hp. Collect your money and go directly to the peeler bar to celebrate...

Know any one with a nitrous kit? lol. Slap on a 75 shot (no tuning or changes needed) just in case he's not stock

Seriously, if he's stock, i see no reason why you shouldn't beat him with your mods.

I ran an SRT6 on the highway when I was stock and neither of us could pull on each other... it was pretty dang close the whole way through 4th, if I remember correctly.

Given your mods you should be ok, but if you're going from a dig your 20s are really going to hurt you.

Just pray he didn't increase the boost... More importantly, make sure you run him from a dig, because stock these things trap 107mph.

If he isn't stock, you maybe in trouble. It should be a good race otherwise.

They run flat 13s. You're pretty much full bolt-ons so it should be close. You might have him. Good luck!

*edit* No way he kept up with a C6 Z06 unless he is very modded.

They will run mid 12s with a pully swap. So if he is modded even a little, it's pretty much over for you lol
