They're pretty sick cars, but ya they don't respond to mods as well. I saw one today, but didn't get the chance to run him, too much traffic

The 107 trap should be a good indicator. It seems like it takes a bunch of bolt-ons for s197 GTs to trap that fast.

I have a vid in the other section of me racing one. Not the best vid since it was night but I can take him from a dig and stay ahead the whole time. I am a better driver then him but without my intake I don't know if I could beat it. From a roll at 40 he jumps a half car and then I real him in and pass at the top of third. From a 60 he pulls a car up and then my third catchs him and when hitting fourth I slowly pull ahead.

Umm.. please name them.. fastest time I think anyone has ever posted was 13.3 and the trap was 103mph (done by Evan Smith).

Is that the fastest trap so far? I was expecting alot more then that. Current gen G37's have trapped that fast.

I saw that vid. Its a pretty good indicator of what your average 370 driver is going to do. Like you said though, I doubt you would be able to hang with him without your intake and (tune?).

They don't trap so good, not on the stock tune anyway.

Not sure about the trap honestly. But I think GeneK did a little better than a 13.3 bone stock.

EDIT:

http://www.mustangforums.com/forum/s...5-104-mph.html

Apologies, it was a 13.3 @ 104. I'm sure the 370 is a faster car but if a 13.3 is the best it's done then IMO it's more of a squeak over the mustang and not really an ass rape.

Assuming you are talking about the 370z, didn't you just say 13.3 was the avereage for the 370z?

Isn't the best time for the 370z a flat 13 or a high 12?

I wasn't the one who said it was average. I asked if that was average. No response was given.

A 13.3 is about the best stock time I know of for an s197 GT. I think that some have done high 12s with just an intake and a tune.
