Default 02 GT vs Supercharged G35

Hey guys. I got called out the other day from a guy with a 2005 supercharged G35 coupe, but the weather prevented us from racing that night. We plan on lining up sometime this weekend coming up.

The car is an auto and all it has done besides the supercharger is an aftermarket catback. He is on stock tires as well. I know its not accurate enough information because i dont know what kind of charger he has and how much PSI he's making, but i'm assuming his internals are all stock too.

I'm not too familiar with the G35s and don't know how I will fair against one. I'm assuming that I'll lose the race, but i'm always up for a good time.

My mods are in my sig. My car sits on Nitto 555 Drag radials. I plan on racing from a dig.

He's most likely making at least 100 hp over stock power. I doubt there is much you can do to take him short of using a 75 shot. It's really hard to say for sure what it'll take to beat him without knowing exactly what he's got it tuned for. You ought to be able to jump a car or two on him from a dig, but its doubtful you'll hold him off.

It all depends on what supercharger he has. If he has a stillen stage 1 that makes a wooping 40HP over stock you'll be fine. If He's running a Vortech or a stage 2 or greater stillen your probably toast.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

bluebeast is hitting it dead on...you need to find out what type of F/I kit he has and what kind of psi hes turning. If he has the vortech and running a decent amount of boost your prob gonna get beat.
