my friends has an 03 mach 1 with steeda udp's. throttle body. JLT RAI H pipe and STS with pro kit springs. what should it run in the 8th? assuming around 1.9-2.1 60 foot. he was running 8.4-8.5 last night and i didnt know how good that was?

That sounds right. I had two, so I have two different scenarios. My 5spd ran 8.4 on a 2.0 60' at 87mph with 4.10s, kn filter, orx, sts, and catback. My automatic Mach ran 8.6 on a 1.98 60' at 86mph with just an ORX and a filter.
