FYI , Evan Smith ran a 13.2 in a Bone Stock S197 GT. That is the FASTEST time ever.
Also, Gene K ran that time I believe with his 100LB G/F/ Wife driving if I am not mistaken. Doodad Also ran a 13.4 Bone Stock on a warm day only after a couple of weeks of driving the car.
No way in hell an S197 GT is running a 13.0 in the 1/4 BONE STOCK.
Factory freaks are also implied to older model cars. I.E 03/04 Cobras dyno 360 RWHP on AVERAGE, some dyno 370 and some FREAKS dyno 380 RWHP. A big factor however, is the software and equipment of the dyno, as well as the conditions the dyno is in. i.e weather.
I am just using the 03/04 Cobra as an example, no need for anyone owning a 3V to get upset over it, and show me dyno sheets and time slips of the slowest/weakest 03/04 Cobras, or give me some DA corrections/info/fun facts.
For the Record, the guy on youtube is a tool. Kinda reminds of the guy that tried to tell me Roush only makes Axle Backs for the Roush models, and none of them are made with round tips. This was after I linked the roush site with the Rounded/Rolled Tips. Go figure.

Do a search for "disappointing dyno" and you'll find the thread where my results and Mishri's were posted. Same day, same dyno, within 30-45 minutes of each other. He had 10whp better than I did. His car is an auto and mine is a manual. Same tune and tuner. There are differences in tire/wheel size, and he has pulleys and plates over me. That said the results are not exactly what you'd expect.
Brenspeed told us that some cars are low producers. So yes there are still differences in individual cars. You wanna blame someone for it blame Ford. They built the things.
I'm not 100%, but either way, a bone stock S197 isn't hitting a 13.0.

An old roommate of mine ran 13 flats with his stock 01 TA. I didn't think it was that uncommon to hit 12's in a stock fbody.
it's pretty uncommon actually.... doable, but conditions and driver have to be BEYOND pristine, usually happens at tracks with negative DA with people that are track veterans
I never said it wasn't possible, I just think if you quote every single LS1 F-body as a 12 second car because a couple have done it and the mass majority stay low-mid 13's that you really need to get your head out of your ass... my stock A4 vert 2002 WS6 ran a 13.4-13.5 almost consistently, being it was a convertible I'd call most a low 13 second car

It was done at Houston Raceway Park. I think we're below sea level or something. I'd expect most stock F-body cars to run 13.3's-13.5's.
I totally agree with your point. Simply because a handful of drivers nail high 12's doesn't mean all f-bodys are 12 second cars.
Dyno's don't mean squat. I have had my car dyno'd on the same dyno, more than three consecutive times with no tuning. The car made more power on the 3rd pull than the first, even with them all being within 45'ish minutes of each other.
Say, for example in Riptide and Mishri's case, you guys drove 10 miles to the dyno and Riptide went first. Well, obviously both cars are hot. By the time you get the car on the dyno and rolling, it's even hotter, while Mishri's car is chilling waiting it's time. Finally, you make your run and you're all happy and have a boner, then you see your numbers. By this time your boner has probably sucked in hard enough to pop you in the chin and you're like "wtfbbq" and Mishri, by this time, is thinking he's only gonna see 200rwhp because he has a crapmatic. So Mishri's car, that has been chilling this entire time, watching all this go down and all, happily climbs up on the dyno. The car knows it's gonna smack your cars numbers around, because he chills, only fast cars do that. So it waits patiently while rolling on the dyno, still in chill mode, then EXPLODES with a blistering 15 second run to redline and lays out a whopping 285rwhp. Then, after Mishri cleans himself, and the tuner off from his premature ejaculation. He looks at you and lol's and then you guys go home and make out. The end.
