hahaha.. pretty accurate.. except my car went up first and yes.. i made different rwhp #s with each pull.. started at 275 then 2nd pull was 285.. didn't opt for the 3rd.. (would have cost i think $20) my car was definetly heat soaked for the 2nd..

I agree with morbid on how to quote car's times.. not using the best runs but a more average run at a low elevation track..

and its not the dyno that is reading differently, your car is outputting varying power levels each time. when you are doing the standard 3 pulls you aren't calibrating the dyno, its already set, your engine is adjusting.. and like the tuner there said.. the #s mean nothing, dynos should only be used for tuning purposes. On the other hand, the track results are fairly clear the dyno was accurate about the difference in power Riptide and I are putting out.. how that equates to someone who dyno'd elsewhere would ofcourse be different.

Maybe the tide just can't drive that well? Needs more practice perhaps. It's not easy learning how to drive a higher powered rwd car. What kinda traps was he seeing?

+2 youtube arguments. Might as well smash a blunt object against your head. You'll never fix or get through to all the self described "experts" on there. Dumbass kids most of them.

Nice fiction story there 98LS1. Combining cars and homo sex together. Not sure anyone has pulled that off before. lol

Now regarding the dynos and whatnot. Mishri is a little confused. Kolb02 drove my car but it was before the gears and my new wheels/tires went on. It was also before we put the two cars on the dyno as well. Much earlier in the year.

My best run was a 13.9 @ 100mph. 2.0 60'. The DA was 4600'. The corrected value was a 13.1 @ 106mph. I was not power shifting. I rev'd to around 3000 and slipped the clutch. Mishri's best run was a 13.5. 60' was a 2.0. His corrected value was a 12.8. I do not recall what his actual ET was or the corrected values for it.

Now, take the results, compare them. Mishri still has me by a solid 3 tenths. He has a 10whp dyno advantage. 60' times were similar. So, why the disparity? 10whp shouldn't account for 3 tenths. There are a variety of possible causes there. For one we're comparing corrected results on different days. Secondly, I can't out-shift his car without power shifting which I don't want to do. Thirdly, he does have a small advantage both on power and also slightly less rolling resistance due to his setup. And finally, I am not a natural driver and I do not have a good skill level.

IMO, 8 tenths being a corrected time is a lot of correction. Not to mention 6 MPH.

Also, Mishri's car should weigh a pinch more, if you both have the same options, as his Auto is a good amount heavier than Manual. Just depends I guess.

Both my run and his were in similar conditions actually. I agree 8 tenths is a lot. His correction was 7 tenths. OTOH 4600' is pretty terrible air.

Depending on where you get your information. His car weighs over 100lbs less than mine. kbb.com and also his registration state as much. I have no idea why the 07 is supposed to weigh less than the 05-06. But it does if you believe what's printed in both of those places.

so I successfully trolled a GTP tool to death.... I see his eyes melting he is so mad... I know you guys say it's useless to argue on youtube but I am rolling right now so I'm sharing

this is a long drawn out thing but this is where it gets interesting... this was after the fact he admitted he had a low-mid 13 second car to my 12.7 @ 106MPH

HIM
Quote:
I was clocked at 87 mph in the 1/8 mile this summer at the local stop light drags. Right the 1/8 mile mark by a cop's radar gun. So i guess that seals the deal, my car is faster than yours haha. I know you're just going to say that i'm full of **** but i have everything i need now. That was also with my 3.0 pulley, stock injectors and a worse tune.

Quote:
No i've never been to a real track, so what? And yes it was 87 mph, i must of made a typo before. 8 is right next to 7 incase you didn't know

My car is quicker now anyway. I could put some ET street tires on my car and own your ass off the line. Bottom line is, you have no clue what you're talking about when it comes to a GTP.

so after he started saying that stufff I had him... and then he started getting mad

the stories you tell about yourself are a shining example of what you say about your car... false, and also... a very good look at how most GTP owners act, which is why they are a laughing stock
