I already told you, throw on a shift kit. TransGo makes a great one. You can have it installed in just a few hours and it can be had for under $100. http://www.transgo.com/sk_ford.php SKAOD is the one you want. Look at the features. It's probably one of the best cheap mods you can do to an AOD car. Add gears and you'll be barking your tires on the 1-2 shift!

No! You just remove the pan, take out the valve body and follow the install instructions. I think I had to slightly drill on one part of the VB, but it was easy. I can't remember though.
