Default estimated 1/4 times and a couple bench races

hey guys, i guess as i wait for my new brenspeen tune to match the mods i have i will ask some questions. I have a full exhaust with longtubes x pipe no cats and boom tubes, hurst comp shifter, aluminum drive shaft, underdrive pullies, C&L cai with new brenspeed tune to match the mods. along with 18 inch fr500 with nittos 555... what do u think i should run in the quarter? i think around 13 flat, assuming i can drive decent

Also my uncle has a stock challenger srt8 do u guys think it would be a good race for me?
and my friends dad has a charger srt8 said he went 12.9 bone stock...think i have a chance? i think he might be a lil generous on the 12.9 though....and just for the hell of it what about a new camaro ss?

thanks guys

Well, lots of questions, but I think I can sum it up pretty quick. Your car will be capable of running high 12s one you get your new tune, etc, but whether or not you can pull it off is yet to ben seen. As far as the bench racing, your CAR is more than quick enough to handle the SRT8s and the SS. Its all going to come down to your skill.

x2 .... what Stone said... FWIW a 12.9 with 108+ traps from a stock SRT8 is doable in good weather with a good launch (1.9x 60ft would do it)... so I don't think he is lying at all.

My friend just ran a 13.0 @ 106 with a 05 GT, cai and tune... with your mods i would expect mid 12's if you know how to drive. I see a lot of horrid S197 times due to crappy driving.

Your car has the potential to run high 12s (12.6 to 12.8) It comes down to driving skill so if you haven't had a lot of strip experience I'd guess low 13s are more likely. With your mods you should also be able to keep up with SRT-8s and SS once the tune goes on.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.
