Default New gears new question

So I'm going to be installing a t-lok with 4.10's soon, and I have a few questions.

Ever since we raced, I've been wanting to get some payback. My friend has an 07 pony package sixxer that pulled me by about a length a while back, both have exhaust and intake. He may have a tune as well. With 4.10's, t-lok, exhaust, intake, I should pull him pretty good, right? He's auto and I'm 5 speed.

Also, what would you say I could pull in the 1/4 with a lot of practice?

Cliffs: 2000 V6 5 speed, 4.10's, LSD, exhaust, intake vs 07 auto sixxer exhaust, intake, stock gears who wins by about how much?

and 1/4 ET.

I would assume you could pull a mid/low 15 second 1/4 mile. Maybe a high 14 with great air, and a < 2.0 60'. Those 4.0's respond a lot better to mods than the 3.8's, but those gears and LSD just may give you the win.

Well considering he pulled a car on me, VERY slowly, I think I can take him pretty easy with 4.10's. He's stock, open diff 3.27s and only exhaust/intake. No tune.

I think you can pull him. Just don't over launch it. Take off easy and let those gears do work.

Like stone said, take it easy with those 4.10s off the line. Street tires and 4.10s are a good recipe for clouds of smoke with too much throttle.
