Does anyone else here other than myself have experience running their car at a DA of 3000' or higher? If so, what were your timeslips like and what mods do you have on the car?
I'm looking for some other results to help compare against my own. Preferably from the same model car if possible.
TIA

Ok, I'm in Salt Lake City. Elevation 4400' or so. DA is usually above 5500'. I can give you some times of what the stangs run out here.
my totally stock auto ran a 15.1 at 95.
after the Bama race tune, I ran 14.6's
tune adjusted to shift at 6260 instead of 5900 got me to 14.3's
3.73's got me a 14.10 @ 98
I'm on street tires and can only launch at about 1500-1800 rpm's. No tire spin at all, just a little bog off the line.
Now, the DA's fluctuate a little bit..but the above times are all around a DA of 6300' or so.
Here's some other stangs I race with.
manual, CAI/tune, 3.55, LT's, UDP's and DR's ran a 13.8
auto cai/tune, 3.73, UDP's, CMDP's,DR's ran 13.9-14.0 and trapped 101. He did not have a "known" tune..he was using the canned tune and modifying it himself. with a 75 shot he ran 13.1. after a stall converter, he ran 12.8's
auto, cai/tune, 3.73's UDP's DR's ran 13.2 on a 75 shot. Without the N2O, I beat him,(He's a bigger guy than me)
Then there's the factory freak..maybe, I dunno. 2009 GT, manual, DR's, skinnies up front, CAI/tune and a helluva driver ran a 13.4. The fastest by far that I've seen a comparable stang run at our track.
I've seen other stock stangs, all run around 14.8-15.1. With cai/tune on street tires, the manuals manage around a 14.6 or so.

I've only seen two cars run. My best is a 2.0 60', 13.9 @ 100. Intake/Tune and gears plus good summer tires. Mishri has run a best of a 13.5 with Intake/Tune, gears, pulleys, and delete plates. I don't know what his trap was.
Just trying to get a handle on what my times mean.
Before I got my summer tires and gears installed I had a best of 14.0 @ 103mph. That was with a 2.2 60' and traction control turned on. Without traction control I was sitting at 14.3 with a 2.3 60'. I never have tried turning traction control back on since I put the gears and summer tires on but I wonder if I might have done better with it enabled. A single tenth improvement over my previous best (w/TC on) is terrible honestly.
I ran the 13.5@102mph with around a 4200' DA.. went back around 6000' and got 14.0s w/drag radials. the DA adjusted was worse than my stock tire runs.. I only got 3 runs, didn't get enough practice on them.
the car came with the AOD trans when i first got it. I burned up the converter due to nitrous use and swapped in a Promotion Powertrain Cobra T5 trans. that was the beginning of this year.
Hopefully it lasts, haha, but I am not gentle at all on it. (other then granny shifting)
But Im up in the air between a TKO600, and a built C4. The car is becoming more and more a track car, as I don't drive it other then to goof off, and hit the track anymore.
why do you ask?
