Default Just because you bought, dont mean you can drive it-- GT-500 kill

Pre-story: my inspection due this month and i know the rear tires are going to be questionable on passing so ive been laying ALOT of rubber before i need new tires.

So, im at a local bar i like to go to on monday night and theres always a blue 05-09 style gt-500 there (owners partners car). My buddy and i take turns driving weekly so one can get drunk and the other drives. I take my mustang and he takes he audi. Well last night i drove and i finally meet the guy who owns the gt-500 the day i took my mustang as i was leaving. so he challenges me to a little bunrout contest.

So he lines up an sounds like he just dumps first gear laying about a 30-40 foot lines. Not much smoke just left lines. So he pulls around and gets out ands like 20 bucks says you cant beat that. At that point his wifes sees i have a GT not a GT-500 and goes "Oh its only a regular one". As soon as i herd that i was gonna let them know what i can do.

So i line up and dump 2nd and jump on the breaks and just sit there for a soild 30 secs, i couldnt see a freaking thing there was soo much smoke just a blue haze from my gauge lights poking through the smoke. I left off and layed down a nice set of lines.

I come back to see his reaction and it was like a dear in headlights. Jaw droped his wifes looking at him like she was let down from a premature night haha. I told him to keep his money and his car is not made of glass enjoy it.

I went back today to see the lines knowing i crushed him. His looked like a 4 week old burn out, mine look like penndot layed some black paint down the parking lot.

I hope you enjoy this long story but its just nice to have the right car at the right time to make the right people realise a thing or too.

Amusing, but that's not a "kill."

Right car at the right time? More like right driver. The GT500 is going to be able to pull just as good of a smoke show as your car. Unless it has problems with wheel hop on the stock setup.

What? You had a burnout kill? Sorry, but I've never heard of such a thing.

Yeah not a regular kill, but i was challenged by a gt-500 to a little burn out by an owner who though he was king. When i smoked out the parking lot compared to his "burnout", yeah i won

In most case i know the gt-500 would woop me, but last night was night in under the lights i took it by force

My 07 GTA would do a nice break stand, melt the tires.
My GT 500 will not, stock suspension.
My best burn is after a short first gear, then lay hard into it in second.
First gear is almost useless in the GT500 with stock suspension.
