Default Place bets now...02 wrx vs 95 gt

My car vs my buddies, just a friendly rivalry. Doing a dig race 0-100. My best time at the track is a 12.8@112. And since that run I will have a Much better tune, better u/l control arms, ignitionbox, and underdrive pullies. His best run is a 13.3@97 and will be running that same setup, which is a lot of weight reduction, full exhaust, and stage 2 Cobb tune.

The only reason this is going to be anywhere near close is that he'll hook, I'll spin. But I'm really hoping I can come around him before 80. Just to shut him up. What's everyone else think?

I'm going with you all the way, unless you can't get any traction what so ever.

Race a buddy of mine with a WRX with an upgraded turbo and he pulls about a car and a half on me from the start then I start reeling him in and passing him by around 70. You should catch him and slaughter him pretty easily assuming you spin badly off the line.

With the Nittos, heat them up a little and you should have no issues walking him
