4.10's x pipe tune and stick tires. you'll have to drive like hell but you should hang with him from a roll, or so im guessing, idk much about them

thanks for all the input guys- i had a feeling it wasnt going to be easy haha.
I'm thinking the H Pipe, 3.73s, a tune and some suspension mods might prevent me from looking like a tool so thats probably what I'll go with.

Any recommendations on what tune to get and from where?

Is there a dyno tuner near you? If so, get any decent handheld (SCT, Diablo, etc) and have the shop do a custom tune for you on the dyno. If thats a little out of the price range, I'm not really sure who offers the best canned tune for your 2v.... somebody around here knows though.

I say 4.10 and an intake/tune with a good tires should prevent you from getting embarrassed.

Don't feel too bad. With the mods you have, I've been beaten from a roll by the an 00 GT (4.10/autos hate roll racing lol) From a dig, I ripped him a new one though lol.

I think you'll be alot closer from a roll, but it may take at least 3.73s. 4.10s may be too much and leave you with lower top end...

if you need the extra pwr but low on money get some 4.10s hell maybe even 4.30s a good set of cams the usual bolt ons L/Ts etc and find you a good tuner with that mid
12s are possible with a good tire and a little suspension and the sti would have problems.... just don't be scared of to much gear with a n/a combo

Thats why I'm leaning more towards the 3.73s. It's pretty nice to know that I might have a chance against an Auto 3V GT btw haha.

I went with my friend today to test drive a plain WRX and that thing was seriously quick. I'm pretty sure I'd just have to get over not having a faster car than him for the time being lol
