It didn't shoot up that much, I think it was like 10-20lbs over a '09.

it's something like 14-16 lbs.....just to narrow it down further for ya...

FWIW.....the 2010 GT compared to the 05-09's will be a drivers race non track pak.....so one can assume that the times will be similar....furthermore; add in to the equation the trak pak GT with 3.73's and suspension mods and stickier tires......let's be generous and subtract .2s from the base GT (if for nothing more than stickier tires and Gears)

Still.....a drivers race no matter which car you have.....the stiffer road course tuned suspension will be a slight handicap for the strip on the trak pak....but with taller gears etc etc etc....you get what i'm saying.

I don't have any knowledge of actually knowing the times of the S197's well (as I'm a road course guy) but it would make sense that one could compare ANY s197 and assume that the margin of driver error to be no more than .2 sec on any S197.

That being said: I have seen a full bolt on Sn95 GT with wheels and good tires run 13.6
On top of that another SN95 with minor weight reduction and DR's as well as 4.10's and Stage 2 or 3 cams (don't recall) Last I heard his fastest time was Mid-high 12's.....like 12.5-7!

....just my .02

I'd say the 2010 is a hair quicker than a 05-09, but imo the gears make the biggest difference, not that the better tuning doesn't. It seems as if the 2010s are running mid 13s more consistently for whatever combination of reasons. If I had to compare the 2010 to another S197, I'd say its basically what a S197 Bullitt is... 3.73s, better intake, little better tune. With that said, at the end of the day its more or less a drivers race with the edge going to the 2010.
