new edge vs 2010

Averages for a 2010 will be nowhere near 13.3! The fastest anyone ran in a stock '05/'09 3v was 13.27 I believe. 15hp is not going to change that by much.

I think the op just has the mods mentioned in his sig. I don't know for sure, but he didn't state otherwise.
I was just stating my opinions against a full bolt on, geared , and tuned new edge gt. I'm sure in the op's case it will be much closer.

Mods listed is what I am looking at. I don't see anything that other than the gears and midpipe that would give him anything extra. I see the 10 getting this one.
That was a pretty good vid though it does matter who is driving.

The OP's car is a mid 13 second car with a set of DR's and a competent driver.
Thats close enough to ET about the same as a 'fair to average' driver in a '05-'10...
Having said that, it's the 2010 Drivers race to win or lose...but not by a whole lot..
unless you're talking about roll racing...then it's ugly early.

I agree. I'm pretty sure the "AVERAGE" for a 2010 Mustang would be in the 13.8 range. I think 14.2 is a fair average for the new edge. It'll take a pretty good driver to run in the high 13s for a completely stock new edge. Very similar to stock SRT-4 times. Good drivers can do it but most kids run low to mid 14s.

15 hp maybe not, but with the 3.73 rear axle, 13.3 is not impossible by any means, and if you factor in the track pack, low low 13's is very possible. Don't discount the minor suspension components either, they help out a good bit (both stock, and with the track pack option)
13.8 as an average for a 2010? Respectfully man, that's just ridiculous. I know you know your ****, but if magazines are running consistent 13.5's, think about someone who actually owns the car and has a chance to get to the track often.
