me vs c6 corvette

I ran my co-workers 2007 automatic LS2 C6 from a dig with my S197 and the mods in my sig and held him off by a bumper up to 100 mph. I wasn't expecting that at all. He spun about 5 feet or so off the line, so did I. I powershifted and that seemed to keep my car in front, but barely. An LS3 Vette would've flat walked away. He only runs 8.8 1/8th miles with it though, so I'm not sure about the driver mod, although he does pull a consistent 2.0 60'. I think you'll be ok against an LS2 with that 75 shot, in fact I know you will with the extra torque, but you'll need to step that shot up a lot to stay with an LS3. This is all speculation of course.

08+ LS3 makes 424 hp @ 5900 rpm, and 418 lb-ft @ 4600 rpm, however there is an exhaust upgrade that boosts hp to 436 and torque to 428 lb-ft. hope this helps.

The LS3's make a bit more HP to the wheels than what your car would put down, and weighs probably around 400+ lbs less, and is geared from anything past 100.
If you can drive, and he fails at life, you can take him. However, if he can drive, he should pull away pretty hard, especially at triple digit speeds.
I've seen a few LS3 vettes run 11's bone stock, on street tires, and trap 120+. I bet you are good for a mid 12, and a 115-116 trap. Give or take.
I say just race him, and find out for yourself. That is the easiest way to go about it.
