Ran a Lexus is 350 for like 20miles.
So on Wednesday I took a trip to UCLA and took my big brother plates, cups, blankets and everything you wold need at a dorm. We had a good time together and it's always fun meeting new and somewhat strange roomates. lol pretty cool
Anyways, today I came back to Bakersfield from Westwood. In case some of you don't know,to get to bakersfield we have to go through an assortment of mountains accumilating to about 4144 feet above sea level, kinda high. So I hit the hill no prob at 80mph all the way and on the way down, this lexus with only the driver in it, weaved through traffic as he pulled up directly next to me and doesn't even look at me lol. So I proceed at 80 and he accelerates to what looked like idk maybe 100. We start gunning a bit but I don't really like it becaue the hill is really steep and I don't want to cause an accident.
As we reach the bottom where the corredor starts, a long stretch of about 20 miles, we hit it hard!! I got up to 120 and he was right in front of me. We slow down due to traffic. After he manouvers really clean through the traffic, I follow and we do the same for the next 10 miles or so; going up to 120-130mph and then slowing down to 70 because of the the light traffic. Finally we get a long stretch to ourselves. I get next to em drop to third and were off, he stood next to me and then I pulled like 3-4 cars on em all the way to 140mph. He had his windows down and his sunroof open so maybe that had some effect, but I truly think I burned this dude. When he would accelerate Iwould catch up slowly and again , slow down because of traffic. We continue gunning through traffic and now I'm in front. I get to my exit and we give eachother a thumbs up. cool dude smoking a cuban cigar I think.
It was an amazing feelin going that fast for the first time in new motor(04 PImotor with 26k miles). It was effortless to be quite honest, and at 140 the car was still moving forward. I had a strange feeling in my stomach, something I never felt before when I was changing lanes at such a high speed, but I must say, my 96 sn95 with 169k miles felt really good! I'm proud of my car.
Just thought I'd share my excitement.
Is this something to be proud of, beating a Lexus is 350? lol
idc, I hit 140 and could have gone faster.

I can almost swear it was a 350 but if you say they trap over 100 then I may have misread. I don't think I can trap over 100. I actually have no idea what I would trap. But this lexus was really quik!!

Now I wonder if I can beat an IS350. Probably not, considering me and the Lexus driver are really good drivers, and if you're correct on my trap speed and also on the IS350's trap, then I'd lose.

good race, just be careful. yeah the fastest trap i have seen for a stock is350 is 105. they're very quick for what they are. a friend of mine has the is250, and its down about 100 hp from the 350. its still quick, traps i think for the 250 are around 90.
