i voted no, obviously. i mean a full bolt on gt makes what, 300whp area? and a pullied termi(assuming it has a tune, no cobra with a pulley should have their stock tune) would be around 440whp i'd imagine. plus add in the weight and aero difference. it's no contest really. even a ****ty driver in the cobra that short shifts would beat him.

Cobra should have no problem pulling this one out. Cobra putting down at least 400 horses S197 putting down 300-320, would be a slaughter IMO. Plus the S197 weighs more than the Cobra right? Those guys talking crap about beating a Cobra must have been talking about the 99-01 model..

Voted no. I was looking for the "hell no have you lost your mind" option, but had to settle with a simple no.
It blows my mind how some people buy a car, any car, and get so wrapped up in it that they believe it's as badass as KIT on knightrider. A full bolt-on S197 is making in the 320 rwhp range, running higher 12s with a good driver. Add some NSR cams and they commonly make 340-350 rwhp and run mid 12s. In other words, with full-bolt ons AND cams, they are still slightly down on power from a STOCK Cobra, never mind a pulleyed one. Even more important is that ALL that power/torque comes in way up top in the RPM range unlike the Cobra that is not only making more RWHP, but has a flat torque curve all the way across. So while the S197 is reving, the Cobra is leaving it. Don't even get me started on a pullied/tuned Cobra. It will be the same as if you are comparing a stock Cobra to a stock S197. No contest.

Are you being sarcastic, or are you looking for a fight?
If you do not like the poll, don't vote. If you cannot respect the wishes of someone else's thread, not your own, then you are a moron, and don't belong here.
How about the next time you start a thread/poll, I'll be the ******* that I am, and post useless and go against you what you nicely asked for, and see how you like.
Since you are obviously new, you do not know that on a felllow site, there are stupid people that actually believe a bolt on GT is a match for a stock and pullied Cobra.
