Default Me vs a 09 M5??

Ran upon this guy today that had a 09 BMW M5. We messed around a little but it was just to much traffic to let her loose. So what do you guys think would have happened if we had lined up at a light? I have a 04 530I and for a 6er it's preety quick, so I can just imagine what the M5 can do. Thanks..

Not sure. They're a bit over 4,000lbs, so heavier than your car, but not way heavier.....and 500+ hp. I imagine from a dig it could be close, but from a roll you might get hurt.

I don't really think it would go well for you. They trap very high teens low 120s. But you'd do alot better than the BMW driver expects.

Yeah that's kinda what I figured.. I would have ran him if the conditions were right. Gonna get my BAP installed soon and push it over 400. Should be a little closer if I'm close to the 420 RWHP mark right?

M5's trap 114-116mph range. So its pretty much a drivers race with your car. You will probably be able to edge one slightly.

Yep, they're pretty nasty. It would've been a sick run though.

you would lose, I'd almost want to say the BMW would be better from a stop than yourself as well

I forsee major wheelspin with your powerband/tires/high gear/setup in this weather... if you have ever launched a M5/M6 you would understand what I am talking about... thing just goes with a little peep

for some reason the large german tank luxo's do great from a stop.. all the way to the 55/63 AMG's
