2011 Mustang GT & BMW M3 Tie in 1/4 Mile. What About A Longer Run??
So it is needless to say the the 2011 Mustang GT is a spectacular car and a unbelievable improvement over the previous model. It is so good that ties the BMW M3 in the 1/4 mile and also does very well in other subjective tests. But what about a good old highway race up to like 150 mph? How would it do there against the benchmark M3?
This is a video of them doing 5 quarter mile runs.

DEY HIT THE BREAKS ON THE MUSTANG TO LOSE!!1 /bull****
Some races it looked like the M3 was starting to catch up to the GT....but other races was the complete opposite. That M3 sounded like it had longer gears than the GT though but IDK. I think it would still be very close at 150mph.

I give the BMW extra points for technical achievement in the engine(It's a neat lil V8)....but the Mustang gets the job done for less money, in an engine that will likely last longer.
I'd take the Mustang, even though Ford made it fugly.
