dsm guru's tell me about this set up
ok got a local guy wanting to race tcstangerv6 next summer, he'll have a built 4.6, blower cams, and a maxed out s-trim and is aiming for 500+whp and 10's.
now onto who is talking lots of smack.
1st gen dsm with a semi built 4g63 by burshur. holset turbo, all the necessary engine mods for fuel/air/exhaust, dogbox, etc. what should this thing run? it will be gutted i do believe so light weight. my buddy did some research and the fastest holset turbo car he could find only ran an 11.1, does that sound right no? i know basically nothing about them. just not sure if he's going to be able to win this race or not, he's talking a bunch of smack to two cars that have ran mid 11's and are aiming for 10's next year, but this cars never been to the track yet so no clue what it'll run, if it's ever done for that matter. lol.

With his setup 10s is doable (if the driver can do it), I believe there is an HX35 into the 9s, but I'd have to double check. At any rate, they trap in the 130s on the high end, mid 120s with low to mid 11s being the standard (full weight). Just assume so so driver, mid 11s.
Can not wait to finish my swap when I get home, FFWD just built me a 2.3L stroker and I'm running an HX35 with BEP housing, all that jazz in the lil mighty max. Gonna be fun, great little motor the 63T is.

nothing, lol. i dont have a car anymore that would be competitive since i sold my '95. he'll be racing 2 of my buddies, one with a '02 gt, 290ci, ported heads, blower cams, maxed out strim, etc. also another buddy with a 3rd gen with a 383 and 150 shot.
