no one in this thread have driven the new srt, claim it has the same drive as the 6.1, except 90% of the suspension has changed. Talk more out of your collective asses, it amuses me.

You drove one for a few days, and suddenly you are an expert. Instead of making vague and generalized statements, how about you educate us collective *** talkers.

What did they do to improve the suspension?... Because it seems as if its still a 4200lb smoke show. Details and specs would be helpful.

And yet, if a person's car scores high on a dyno it invariably makes it into their sig. Some people are just looking for something, ANYTHING, to brag about.

Please educate us oh wise one. What has Dodge done to overcome the distinct weight disadvantage it has? Your rental car experience honestly has you believing the Challanger will handle like a Mustang?

I'm not a suspension guy but I'll try and find the spec changes for the new chally. I drove a 10 srt back to back to an 11 srt and it performs like a completely different car. Is it the realm of the handling of a mustang? No. Just go read any review of the 11 srt and pretty much every one makes a comment on how significant of a change there is.

If theres one thing anyone learns about chrysler this year is that everything is getting turned around. Every major complaint about our vehicles is being fixed as much as possible with certain factors that can't be changed at the time. You aren't going to get a brand new platform for the challenger to ride on in a year, thats a multi billion dollar investment and takes 3-4 years of development.

I apologize for the previous comment, I was a bit drunk and submitting from my phone. Is there a better way to correct people that assume they are right about things they don't know anything about?

Since when is vehicle R&D a multi billion dollar investment? Try multi million, or maybe a few hundred million in extreme cases. Even Formula 1 development is several hundred million, and that's the most expensive vehicle R&D program on Earth.
