Default Bluebeast get in here.....SRT-4

Question, I was at a local meet last night and meeting some new people, some douches as well. Anyways, to the question. This guy was talking about how fast his friends SRT-4 was, he mentioned that they went to pick-n-pull and got turbos from diesel trucks, boosting 55psi ish, and a 400 shot of "NOS." I'm pretty sure that the "NOS" was complete bullsh!t, but what about the turbo? He proceeded to say that they ran 9's on street tires, which seems kinda low if they are running a turbo as big as that and a shot of "NOS." I've come to the realization that when anyone says "NOS" that they really don't know what they are talking about. The highest shot I've heard of was a 250 shot, not a 400. Even if he was running a 400 shot, wouldn't that mean that his motor was worth like 60k? I dunno, seems like they are just kids running their mouth. Oh, when I aksed if they would come by, he said one is in LA and the other he didn't know where it was.

You should say, kid you have on idea what you are talking about, stop, just stop. I'm pretty sure you don't even need blue beast in here to tell you no way, not 55psi, not a 400 shot. not either, no... just no.

I almost have to say FAIL on this thread for even asking the question if everything this kid said was bs. Kid is a douche and has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. I do like his creativity of picking up diesel truck turbos at the pick and pull though.

Gotta give the kid credit. He was very creative! Biggest turbo I've ever heard of on a skittle was in the range of a GT35r. (.70ar) How much boost pressure is dependant on the manifold build/motor build. But 55PSI would blow most skittle manifolds apart.

I'm one of those guys that shakes my head and let people tell their stories lol, figured I'd confirm my thoughts with you guys. I figured that its a crazy world and crazy $hit happens....I would pay to see this srt-4 blow his hood off though Just a thought, what is the biggest shot of nitrous that is not going to blow the intake manifold off? On a built motor of course.

Living on the edge would be a 150 shot for a 4 banger turbo car.

400 shot of N20... wow...

As for the turbo, yeah that's plausible. I run an HX35 (turbo they ran on Dodge Turbo diesels and the like), awesome turbo. But 55psi... no. They can run into the 40s fine and still be somewhat in the efficiency range (if I remember right 35ish PSI is actually closer), but um yeah.

Sounds like typical ricer B.S though beyond that.

Our old jetboat had a built 454 w/ a Mr. Bigshot "NOS" system, IIRC it was a 400shot system, crazyness...
