Cobra man.

Go to www.hi-endauto.com

He is in VA, maybe a couple of hours from you. Rob is a great guy. He has an awesome selection of Cobra's, and is fair on prices. He helped me out when I bought my Mach.

You won't regret a Cobra man. You can get one for 17-18K with 50-60K miles, invest maybe a grand, you can get an intake, tune, and pulley and possibly an exhaust, and have a solid 11 sec. car with more potential still in the bag.

Hope everything works out in your situtation man. That really sucks dude.

For whatever reason, that was the first thing that popped into my head, thinking quick, moddable, and 4dr.

Im real sorry to hear about this headache bro. Really sucks gettn caught up in shady business antics.
The only reason I wouldn't recommend a CTS-V.... drag racing. Stone likes the drive his cars and CTS-Vs like to eat axles when pushed.

You can buy a 600 dollar fix (Gforce anti-wheelhop axles) but seems like a bad route to go for someone who hits the strip frequently and would be happier with 600 in go fast parts instead of fixing design flaws.

Honestly stuff like that is what kept me from buying one...

Damn, that sucks.

Stone, can you get by with another vehicle like a cheap beater and then save up some cash on the side for something that a bank won't issue a loan on?

I'm with you on that one. There are several nice rides out there that I deliberately stay away from just to keep from having to deal with repairs. Repairs are boring unfortunately.

I'm highly considering it, 99. I can even grab an 03-04 2V for next to nothing and save cash for a Z28, Built Fox, etc, and still have a cheaper DD that sounds decent and is entertaining to drive. I'm trying to stay reasonable and not go overboard this time, but its hard to do when there are so many badazz cars floating around.

If you can get an 03-04 2V, would that be with financing or cash? What are the LS1's going for in your area?

I can get financing for an 03-04 model 2V cause they can be found with decent mileage for under $12k. There is one 2002 LS1 in my area with 11k miles on it, but the stealership wants $17k for it, lmao! The others are high mileage and/or too old. They said they would stretch it back to 2003, but anything past that they want a big down payment on, which I don't have to spare at the moment.

LS1s within 100 miles of me.. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...=1311263186730

How about a C5? Would you consider a V6 Mustang and then put on a blower?
