Default '07 gt at the track, do i need dr's?!?!?!

alright fellas since my cars ko'd for the moment i got the go ahead to take my dad's '07 gt to the track tomorrow so i can atleast have a little fun lol. It is BONE stock down to the paper filter and an auto trans. what times should i expect? low 14's? also, it's got stock 18's on it with the stock pirellis, should i put my 555r's on the rear or will the auto and stockness with the pirelli's be enough?

If you nail a 2.0 and the DA is decent, it could crack a high 13 easy enough. Those tires of yours would no doubt help, but I think it will hook just fine with stock power/tires.

I've got faith in ya, man. High 13s are definitely in those auto S197s.

Mine are about 3-4 months old, and they already have traction problems when I push them too hard (keep in mind this is on a V6, not even a GT) from a dig. The autos are a dog without a tune, but I think you'll do great.

Good luck dude!

I gave my stock Pirelli's hell with my 09 GT. 4.10s, 5k RPM, slipping the clutch. http://www.youtube.com/user/Mach1Spd#p/u/38/bhOBDlgeO8I

If you don't hit 13s, you need to be kicked in the nuts, lmao!

Good luck man, let us know soon.
