Default NA 08 GT bolt on possibilities?

Full interior, no shaker sub/amps/spare tire/jack, 93 octane gas.

Brenspeed 93 octane race tune
FRPP 4.10 gears
C&L Racer CAI 90mm MAF
FRPP intake manifold
FRPP hot rod cams
GT500 TB
Steeda heavy duty belt tensioner
PI multi-disc 3500 stall torque converter
true one piece light weight aluminum drive shaft
Steeda Lower control arms/upper control arms
Ford racing Drag racing spring kit

Mickey Thompson ET Streets
Skinnies up front

I may be selling my Vortech kit due to winter issues (damn you Vortech!), though I won't have quite enough for a new supercharger kit.. I was wondering if the above was worth as a NA type build.

I didn't add long tubes because I already have JBA shorty headers.

Nope. Stick with FI unless you only want to run 12s.

I wouldnt consider that build a bolt-on build... since it has cams.. but that is another arguement..

you are missing Under drive pulleys from the list. and really to take advantage of all the mods i think LT headers would be needed... but might want to ask a tuner about the difference.

I think it would be possible to go low 12s with those mods and great weather/track. with H/C/I and weight reduction people have gone.. i believe 10.9? close to 400whp n/a. I think that also included 4.56 gears.

Those 10's are with massive weight reduction I bet.

I drove my car today since taking off my V3 earlier and it felt a lot more "peppy" and growled more. Pretty sure it was because the V3 made power so effortlessly but NA it worked to get all those 280whp to the ground lol I really like the sound and could'nt help but consider a NA bolt on set up.

The V3 adds a massive amount of weight to the front end. 80-100lbs total I believe, I am not sure. Thought about long tubes since we are getting rid of emissions testing, but spent so much on shorties already.

First I'd like to see what a high stall torque converter, drive-shaft and cams would do with my set up if I go this route.

present mods are:
C&L Racer CAI
economy delete plates
Steeda LCA's & front strut tower brace
FRPP 4.10 gears
JBA shorty headers

I would kick myself if I ran identical times as with the V3 H.O. kit this last season (12.5@111mph, horrible 60 fts.)... in all fairness to the V3, with the additional mods I'd most likely be mid-high 11's though so it's kinda a big difference rofl

It's a definite possibility.. I will most likely get cams, torque converter and drive-shaft...

if all else fails and my V3 does not sell, I can just throw it back on.. only takes a few hours.. no biggie. The funny thing is, the thing that kicks my **** every year on that install is the damn belt and the fuel line connector rofl

lol I don't know what I will do honestly.. I also like the new 5.0s a lot and really like the idea of running 12's with a handful of bolt ons. I love FI and all but I always feel like the motor is on borrowed time...
