Default Race Your Own Mustang - Racetrack

I'm wondering if you all can point me in the right direction...

I want to surprise my husband for our anniversary with a trip to a racetrack where he can drive his own Mustang. He mentioned before that there is a racetrack in Virginia where you go and get a few hours of instruction and then can drive your mustang on the closed course.

Does anyone know the name of this kind of place? We live in North Carolina... but if there are other locations that we could drive to that would be cool too.

Thanks so much!!!

Welcome to MF! ... Have you checked at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte?? I know they have an open track day at the end of the year....I do think there is a track in the Richmond, VA area...

Best of luck....nice Anniversary GIFT!!

Welcome to the forums.

I would post your question in the NC regional chapter thread here...https://mustangforums.com/forum/caro...l-chapter-153/

That chapter is pretty active with locals, and they can probably best direct you to a good track.

I'd recomend just typing in a google search for race tracks in North Carolina. But very nice Idea. Wish my wife had an idea like that every once in a while.
