Default Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab

Well gents I'm at work today and a buddy of mine sends me a email about his new purchase. He's buying a Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab pick up truck. He say's the things stock and want's to see what it will do against my little ol 2V'er (That's exacly what he said). Did a little research and I had know clue they had Viper engines (damn)! What do you guys think? Will I stand a chance? He want's to do a roll and a dead stop drag race. Which will I fair better in? Thxs and any input would be appreciated!

You got him easy if it's stock. it's a 13 second ride.

yeah you'll be fine. the quad cabs are a good bit slower than the regular cab. i think the fastest 1/4 i saw for a quad cab was like a 13.7 or a 13.8 at around 100 mph. the regular cab i've heard has gone below a 13.0 at around 107 from what i've read

13.5-13.8ish for a stock one from what I've heard.

As long as he is telling the truth on it being stock then you should have no problem!

You've got him. I've ran a few of those trucks with 13.0/109 mph cars and had very little trouble with em'. I did get my *** handed to me by a full exhaust, tire, suspension, intake, 75 shot regular cab however. Sucker was running 12.4 at 115 all night to my 12.7-8 at 108. At any rate, your car is much faster than any mid to low 13 second vehicle. Run him anyway though!!

Most of the SRT-10 trucks Ive seen on youtube have had traction issues, maybe they were just launching hard.

I own a regular cab and the quads are a 14 second truck stock, you will crush him. A cai and tune can take a second off their times and make it a mid 13 vehicle.

I hope your buddy has lots of cash for mods. They are not cheap for that truck and the mpg is awful.....less than 10.
