11.5 on stock tires and 10.9 on a sticky tire.


BTW Stone, Roush and Saleens have been available with automatic transmission's since back in the '90's.

I'm sure the launch control will be pretty sophisticated, not just a glorified two-step and TC. I agree, it will make a lot of track newbies look like veterans by bringing the average 60' down. Still going to take plenty of driver mod to bang through those gears however.

Honestly, if I had the '13 GT500, I would never use the launch control, seems like cheating. Too many goddamn interference electronics now a days.

I tend to agree but at the same time I have seen S197 Gt's running in the high 15's low 16's lol

I agree, I mean I'm no expert quite yet, but there was a 07-09 GT500 at the track same day I was there that couldn't even break 13's. I think his car may have been running rich or something because every time he hit 3rd, or 4th, black smoke was bellowing out of the exhaust, almost like a turbo diesel.

I guess I never really noticed, I have tons of friends with FI cars that never did that.

I've seen them do it stock and tuned. My Cobalt did it as well as my procharged Z28. Not all of them do though.
