I dont think so....I actually think it would be a close race
a vortech setup on a 4.6 is a pretty peaky HP setup...i wouldnt be surprised if a 355 hp ls1 actually made about the same, maybe even more avg. power than a vortech 390 hp 4.6

Down low, I agree it won't be anything more than a close race, the LS1 might even pull him at first. I believe the 4.6 is going to oull him up top pretty good though.

do it!!! grab some used slicks and race him dig only. the car looks aggressive, but with those dr's i dont see him able to launch hard and hook with 500hp especially if it's a 150 shot car since that'd be close to 600 at the wheels. Now, i wouldn't go putting money on it or anything but i think you'd get him out the hole and your car deff has potential for 11's, and so does the other guys so i dunno why the hell it only runs 12.0's unless he's posting fake numbers to reel you in, and it's really an 11.0 car.
my buddy with 42x hp on his vortech 2v ran an 11.6@118 with slicks launching it hard, so the possibility to win is there if his times are true. especially since he'll be having a harder time on the street then he did on the track.

lol, yea...ive also ran 11.3@121 with 385 rwhp and at the same time I know guys with 420 rwhp vortech mustangs that ran 12.90s @116 mph

you cant compare that first vid stone, a kb car on street tires vs a mild bolt on ls car on street tires is a very unfair advantage. if both of you would have hooked the kb would have pulled the whole race imo.
