1. 392 SRT8 (if it is an automatic)
2. '11+ 5.0
3-5. Too close to call

Could be. I've never seen a SRT-8 Chally run yet. Had to use magazine numbers for the top 2. I've seen a ton of 5.0s run in the past year and they are every bit as strong as their magazine numbers as far as trap speed is concerned. Anybody that owns a chally that will lend it to me I'll be happy to test it out for ya.

Ohhh, gotcha. I think you've actually told me that before, lol.

Theres a 12.2 @ 113 stock pass on the 392s with numerous guys a tenth or two slower. They are moving out well, manual record is 12.7 @ 110 though.

I think the first place would be a battle between the 5.0 and the 392 dodge but would most likely come down to driver race.

Looks like they were tested by a few magazines at high 12s at a little over 110 mph which around here is about what the 5.0s go.

Ive seen the 5.0s do mid 12s stock though.

Just looking at trap speeds between the 392 and 5.0, it looks like the 392 has a little more top end.

edit....just saw your post skater, regarding the 392 making a stock 12.2 113mph pass. I don't see a 5.0 touching that without a tune.

I searched for about 10 seconds and found this for a new 5.0

Stock tires. Full weight. Full tank of gas. 0 mods.

12.223@115.18

Im sure there are guys who have done that, if not better.

Just asking.. I've seen alot of vids of Cobra vs 5.0 but both cars had some type of mod (Cobra-smaller pulley etc.,, 5.0 Cai, tune etc.,). What do you guys think about that match up (stock 5.0 vs 03 Cobra)? Damn I'm jacking my own thread, lol!
