Default My 3V 4.6 vs a 2V 4.6

With the advent of my cam install, I have someone that wants to run. My mods are in my sig. He has a throttle body(not sure what size, but larger than stock), long tubes, CAI, 3.73 gears, tune, and slicks. I think the biggest factor is the slicks vs my Nitto 555s, but what do you guys think? Who should win? I'm pretty sure I'm the better driver between us from what I hear about him.

Another guy with a stock 03 GT with a tune wants to run as well. How much should I pull on him? Not sure if auto or manual.

you're going to yank both of them pretty good. the only factor with the one 2v is from a dig with his slicks. but if you can drive hopefully you can get outta the hole somewhat easy.

for reference, my '00 auto when it had a midpipe, catback, tune, plenum/tb and cai would be a drivers race against my buddys '07 gt with a midpipe, catback, and intake. so yeah you should beat the first 2v by atleast 2 cars i'd say. the tuned one is gonna get spanked by 4+ cars i'd say.

That 2V literally has two mods that are worth a damn, the tires and the gears. You should have zero issues, even if he jumps you from a dig....you ought to reel him in quickly and walk on past.

I agree with my man Stone. He may get you out of the hole but once you hit second you should start reeling him in pretty good..

Thanks guys. I met up with the stock guy tonight in Mexico. We ran twice, but the first clip is corrupted for some reason. The second is uploading now. It's really short and I think he let off after I left him, but you get the idea.

Yeah, it just kinda turned out that way. I'll try to get a daytime vid next time. My girlfriend was filming and she didn't know to keep filming the other car. It was fun though.

Thanks man. And about that: The first race(the file that got corrupted) I only won by about a length and a half. We went from about 15 mph and when we both got on it, I couldn't hear my engine revving apart from his and bounced off the rev limiter for a full second or so before I realized that it was me redlining and not him and shifted. lol. But I agree; it's fun to hear them like that.
