Mounted the battery in the trunk. Had to move the nitrous bottle so double work again. lol. It's starting to look like a race car.

Looks really good man. Definitely getting close to "race car" status, lol. I want to see that car come off the ground.

It's nice to be able to work on the Mustang at my leisure since the new motor wont be done for another 4 months! Installed the new Holley HP 150 fuel pump and ran 7/16ths braided fuel line down the outside of the frame rail per NHRA rules. Also installed a 40 micron filter before the pump and a 10 mic. filter after the pump.

Started disassembling the engine and selling off the EFI parts. Should make enough money out of that to buy my K-member and tubular A-arms no problem! My neighbor is going to help me pull the old 5.0 block out so I told him he could have it for a project he's building. Talked to the builder for the first time this week. I like what he's telling me. He asked what my goal for the car was? Dyno queen? Street bruiser? Track monster? I told him I wanted a car that would run at least 10.8@120 on motor at the drag strip and he told me if it didn't do that he would come to Jersey and set it on fire then buy it back from me. He thinks we should be able to get close to 600 crank horse power with an aggressive cam. My new nitrous plate came in with jets all the way up to a 350 shot so I can get really silly with the spray!!! Finally the new intake and carb showed up. I love the UPS man. Is that gay? Victor Jr. single plane intake and a Holley 4150 race carb. I went with a 830CFM carb.

Holy **** dragon! That's awesome! Would you spray a 350 shot?

Well the builder says the new setup should be good for 1000whp before you have to worry about breakage. If I did spray a 350 shot I'd guesstimate that would put me in the low 800 range. We'll see. I'm looking forward to running 10s N/A with no worries.

Out with the old. Gotta wait for the new. Pulled the old 5.0 today. My brother in law was a big help. Thanks Jeff. The motor is for sale if anyone is interested? Next up will be a new K-member and tubular A-arms.

Looking good, Blue. That is nice to not be rushed into doing everything. I just hope you get to run it before the season ends.

Any idea how many passes you can get out of 2 15lb bottles on that 350 shot? I'd imagine it drop the bottle pressure pretty good on each pull.

I was getting 5-6 out of the 200 shot. The purge is what really kills the pressure.
