Future Track Time
Curious what you guys think I'll be able to do at the drag strip when I go next.
I'll have a supercharged 5.8 litre making roughly 662/631 on stock tires with and w/o traction control.
I'm by NO means a professional driver. The only time I've ever been to the drag strip without drag radials was with my '99 and I went 14.545 with a 2.226 60'.
Guesses with and without?
I haven't seen much information or queries about this new car in this forum.

Likely won't be able to afford them. I know what I paid for Mickeys in a 275/40/17...
Don't want to imagine what a set of wheels AND DRs would cost to fit the back of this car.

Holy ****, I didn't know you pulled the trigger on that car! Congrats man, I'm very jealous, lol.
Its hard to say what you'll run. That car should be pretty well put together to handle the power fairly well, but you're still going to have to experiment with it for a few passes so you can figure out where the track is and how well your car is reacting to it.
Just a wild guess, if the track is right, DA is decent, and you can pull off a 1.9 and not spin between gears, I'd say a low 11 at over +125++ mph since its your first time out with it.
In reality, I think you might hit a mid to low 12 at 118-120 until you get some seat time.

I'm not even that positive about the time. I'd imagine it'll be mid 12's at 122-124ish.
I won't be on drag radials my first time whenever I go. I'll certainly be gaining some familiarity with the car before I take it out to the strip. Don't wanna be 'that guy' that makes the internet crashing a brand new GT500.
