That too! I plan to stay around 420-430 rwhp because I would hate to throw a rod or do something else that would cost me. What is the typical drivetrain hp loss for these cars? I remember seeing 15% somewhere.

Bro, plenty of guys running higher horsepower numbers without issue. It's all in the tune.

If that's the case, then I feel pretty confident. I am going to be tuned by Eric Brooks over at BrooksSpeed. I was searching around for a tuner a while back and he was a couple hours from me. I start googling him and found out he was the creator of ModularFords.com and has an awesome reputation. At what hp do you need to look at a new driveshaft though?

You shouldn't have to worry about that if I'm thinkin' what you're using your car for.

However, a one-piece aluminum is a nice upgrade. Even better if you can do the work yourself.

Cannot express that enough.. If the 4.6 driver can DRIVE than I would say he or she would have know problem. I wouldn't sleep on the 5.0 though!

Hopefully in 4-5 months time I'll be making a thread similar to this, except it will be a results thread. I am a decent driver. I don't take it to the track much, but I am a quick shifter.

I tried a spydershaft on my 09 GT. It def felt better, gave the car a lighter feel, BUT...it sent a lot of vibration into the cabin. Could've just been a bad DS however considering it came apart on me at 140 mph. The front yoke separated from the DS. Scared the shat outta me, lol. For $750, its not worth it IMO.

I would stick with the M90, but thats just me. It doesn't make the most peak power out of all the options out there, but it excels in powerband, etc. You gotta look at the big picture, not just peak RWHP. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to run a 12.1-12.2 with that blower. You can run a pretty aggressive tune on it and go to bed at night knowing your car will live to see many more pulls. It is true that the tune is key, but pushing it is pushing it. Ask Big50 and a few of the other guys on here
