Ahh come on now PD. 400 is still a ton of HP to most people.

I appreciate all the responses. This has given me the itch to do some light modifications.

Sure for a lot of people. Though a stock turbo Evo hitting 398, Cobalt TC has hit 383whp stock turbo, you was close to 400whp with the little S3. Even just going of 4cyls, if you have some spare money it's really not hard now a days. I mean if I see a swapped STI and he claims 412whp..you know, cool. It's not uncommon. Sure you get what I'm saying.

Either way AWD is nuts, so he will need some mods to keep up.
Does he have any track times?

Honestly if the car is running like it should OP would likely have his hands full even tuned. If he does make any ground up it would be all top end.

I normally like evo's but honestly, that particular one looks ugly, I hate the wheels, hate the spoiler less look on it, hate the tail lights, and hate the color of silver. That being said that thing would definitely move out. I didn't know evo's only weighed around 3200lbs

Ya wheels are ugly. I like the spoilerless look though. But yeah I was just using that car as an example for the OP.

Buddy of mine has one I think its a evo 8 but pretty much the same mods on a stock maxed out turbo and was trapping 90-92 in the 1/8 mile yesterday.... jlt intake tune and a o/r midpipe 3.73's or better and a tire to even things up all the way around.

hmm,

I wouldnt expect the evo to walk away from him so bad from a roll...the awd loses its spunk up top and those coyotes breathe like crazy.

Id be interested in seeing the race but id bet a tune and intake would be enough to put the coyote a head from a roll!
