That's a good idea, hopefully he'll read this and give it a try.

Yeah i'm not sure what the deal is with my air leak issues. I have personally gone through all the hoses/fittings myself checking for leaks. I have had multiple shops check for leaks. Nobody has found anything. The symptoms are as follows: Computer dumps all fuel it can @ idle, once I get to driving it starts pulling the fuel back but still adds some. Once my car is up to temp and I shut it off it will run LEAN as hell once I start it back up(open loop). It literally runs like 18 A/F and you can hear the exhaust stumbling like hell, it sounds just like a mild cam. Get this....as soon as I put it in drive and drive around the block and get it on closed loop it will idle fine. 14.5-15.5 A/F and no stumbling. Air has gotta be coming in somewhere. I get lean codes on the drivers side every few months and thats it. Spraying water/soap mixture below the blower around the intake is pretty much impossible - there is no room to get up under there with the intercooler and all.

I have replaced: PCV Valve, IAC Valve, MAF, Driver's side o2 sensor. Exhaust checked out ok with no leaks.

I re-used the intake manifold gaskets that came with my KB kit when I bought it used. According to the seller they had ~2K miles on them. Seller was reliable and from this site so I do believe that. I think it was a bad idea though and I'll bet that gasket is leaking.

Anywayyyys yes I ran slower but I still think I improved. Stone has put on LTs, SLP lid modification and 3.73s since we last ran together and I think he ran almost the same times E/T. So it was just a lil slower day.

First time we went was in October of last year. I ran as follows...

1st Run
Reaction: 1.4
60 FT: 2.30
1/4TH: 12.92
MPH: 112.44

2nd Run
Reaction: 1.11
60 FT: 2.24
1/4th: 13.01
MPH: 110.73

Today I ran....

1st Run
Reaction: 1.30
60 FT: 2.24
1/4th: 13.46
MPH: 109.78

2nd Run
Reaction: 0.97
60 FT: 2.21
1/4th: 13.64(OUCH)
MPH: 108.23

3rd Run
Reaction: 0.73
60 FT: 2.20
1/4th: 13.32
MPH: 109.22

I improved on all three runs today so i'm really not upset at all. I'm getting the hang of it. On that last run I pretty much released brakes fully on the second yellow light and just punched gas and it felt much much better off the line. On all my other runs I was starting as I released the brakes and I think with all this torque thats not really helping me. I need to break 2.2 60 FTs and figure out if this air leak is hurting me or not.

I attached my dyno sheet. The only thing that I have done since then is MAC O/R H pipe.

Edit: 3.73s and/or Megabite JR LCAs are coming soon. Also considering FLSFCs but want to prevent adding more weight for now.

IMO you're going to need those flsfc with that power. By then that's all of the weight that you'll need to add, unless you go IRS of course

If you do have a leak it is hurting.

Last time me and Hangwire were out there, I was running high 12s (12.7-12.9) at 108-109. Next time with really good air I dropped it down to 12.5 to 12.6 at 110-111. Then after the LTs, gear, and lid mod it ran 12.2-12.3 at 114 and 113. Yesterday kind of sucked for everyone. Seems like all the cars I've seen out there before were down 2 mph. A brand new SRT Chally with pretty good driver mod only trapped 108.

Just throwing it out there, have you checked the injector o-rings?
