That's my car in the speedo vid. It spun, but was still pushing the car pretty decent. It was chilly that day with cool roads etc, so I'll try to do another one today since the roads are warmer and I have 3.73s now. I can get it to hook fairly well, but it takes a gentle foot to pull it off. I can see that TA easily blowing his tires off and falling way back, but if he even half way hooks, its going to get ugly.

I agree with stone.. I can pull 2.0 60fts on 245 street tire just by launching at idle and rolling onto the gas, unless he manages to botch the launch really bad I think you might hold him until about 60... once he is into 2nd gear and rolling he will just pull.

I would say you may hold the LS1 off until around 60-70 MPH if he spins bad on the launch, but after that it should pull hard the higher the speeds go.
The SRT4; since it is a stick car, you may have a better chance of holding off until about 80-90 MPH or maybe higher if he spins bad on the launch.

nah, not yet. Aint heard nothing from the srt cat for a while... since that friday night of Memorial Day weekend. And I haven't really been out too much lately myself. Between working like a rented mule, our anni was this weekend, etc, haven't had a lotta playtime. We'll hookup eventually though, even though I basically know the outcome, maybe I can keep it 'close', for a couple secs anyways! (speaking on the t/a)
