Friend of mine just picked up a 2001 bullitt. He Plans to take it to the track tomorrow figured I would ask some opinions on what it will run mods are.

Car will be ran on 15in v6 wheels with old 26x10.5 et streets stock bullit fronts. Da has been crappy lately 1500+ on avg so that may hurt his et some. Future plans are 4.30s , jlt cai and retune so this is a baseline.

That road racing suspension won't help him very much. I'd like to see high high 12's but I kinda doubt that

High 12s are not going to happen. That mod list sounds impressive, but when its all said and done, the only effective mods he has is those gears and tires. The exhaust, cams, and tune will bump him up a few MPH on the big end, but unfortunately we all know how 2Vs respond to mods.

I understand completely...got a soft spot for Bullitt myself.

The Bullitt and the Mach are two Stangs I swear will be sitting in my garage one day.

Gotta be upfront in this section however. I hope that guy proves me wrong, but we both know its highly doubtful :/

..might have a shot at high 12's with those tires along with the gears and cams. Not something that will happen every day though (unless the driver rips 1.6x short times).

I will say low 13s....high 12s if he can drive and hook.

Yes he is hoping for high 12s in some crap da.. Personally I think the car will be well into the 12s in coo lweather once he gets the gears and jlt.
