I'm 155lbs... heavier guy would definitely slow his car down a little. Not much though I don't think.

The bad deal with the autos is they don't mess up... lol unless he blows the tires at launch it's going to be tough to hold him past the 1/8th.. I think it could be a good match up until 100 as stone said.

Definitely hope it's a 2.73 gear car!! Lol but that would kinda eliminate any chances of the camaro blowing the tires off from a dig or a roll....

But stone the time of that video my car went 13.2x@102.56 1.90 60' and 8.49@82.xx in the 1/8 so I figured that would be in the ball park of how the op's car would trap/run so just used it as an example for the op.

89, I dont think your vid is a good example of how he will do up top orin the mid range. The op is running against an automatic 01, meaning no mistakes, better heads, and Ls6 intake mani. He is up against a solid 107-108 mph car with a 102 mph car.

Yes!

I'll post my SS running a KB 2V at the track and from a roll when I was intake/tune/catback just to stir things up, lol. Stayed within a car or two from a roll and pulled him hard from a dig.

I don't know guys. I have to disagree about being a close race up to 100MPH. I think quite the opposite. Isn't the guy( Z28 driver) auto? If he does blow his tires off the line, he should quickly get her under control and start to pull real hard.. When I was full bolt on (including cams) I raced a 01 z28 and let's just say it wasn't pretty.. Guy even had stealership tags on it. I would guestimate by 100 MPH or so the OP would be a good car behind and that's saying if the Z28 driver gets a bad launch. If he gets off clean launch, then man oh man... Good luck tho man and try to put it on vid!

I think it be more like this, or worse since its an 01 and not a 99 like the one in this vid...
