alright, i'll do that instead since i have the sct tuner as well. still trying to figure out which brand i want to get though. were you happy with the sound from your bassani? and do you think an xpipe will sound crappy with straight pipes? you still think the race will play in my favor with his mods that he gets, or will i be pretty screwed haha. and good guess on the #'s stone, i agree s8 HR or nothin for those z's

The Bassani sounded very nice. I was running it through MAC axleback mufflers. I could tell it gained some power too. Not sure how it will sound through straight pipes, but it basically just amplified mine. Gave it a little more European sound, but other than that it was just a tad louder. I wanted to keep it, but didn't want to buy another $400 tuner, lol.

Yea, that race will still play in your favor. The mods really won't do a whole lot for him. He might pick up 8-10lbs of Tq and a few horses, but I promise you it won't be much. He should save his money and just do high flow cats, a nice cat-back, and some tuning. That alone is going to cost him a ton. The headers and intake just aren't going to help him nearly enough to justify the costs....but it is his car, so...

european sound would be pretty badass, if i did that i'd have to let brenspeed know so they could adjust my tune haha. but good, i'm really glad to hear that. i was afraid the z would somehow sprout another pair of legs and then be able to out run me. how're you liking your SS so far? seems like you've done alot to it now haha
