Default 06 mustang GT vs 95 camaro Z28

I have a close friend with a 95 camaro Z28 full bolt ons CAI, under drive pulleys, race pump etc. (no tuner or chip though). I have an 06 mustang GT full exhaust LT headers, off road X-pipe, high flow mufflers, and a diablo trinity tuner. My question is who would win 0-60 and who would win 1/4 mile? He has some repairs to do on his car (distributor and something else) before we can race so am just curious.

Any answers are great thanks a lot.

I dont think you should have much of a problem at all. It has a LT1 but still I dont see a problem

I beat my friends z28 completely stock. He had an intake and tune. It was dead even until I pulled about half a length in 3rd. So you guys might be close but I think that being tuned you'll pull.

You should take him all day, the race should be won on the launch. You should pull him on the launch, those LT1's don't have good low end torque but, are good high reving motors and could sting you on top end. Good luck

Please race and report back. I have gone head to head with an LT1 WS6 and came out on top with my current mods.

I beat a Camaro SS easily with my GT500 if that helps?

Yeah, this definitely doesn't belong in the STREET/STRIP section. Sounds like TECH to me...

If traction and drivers are equal, it'll be a close race. If one car hooks better than the other, that car will probably win.

When I was stock with just a CAI, I lost to a Z28 of that time frame... I was also only shifting at about 5200RPMs, so if I was a better driver, It might have been equal, but as it was he had a couple lengths on me by the top of third.
That was the deciding factor on supercharging.
