The placement of the engine, the super low center of gravity, everything about it was pure sex. Not saying the BRZ wont be quick and handle well but after owning an RX7 even my WRX didn't compare handling wise.
I took a ride in my friends turbo rx7 once...that ****er hugged a corner at like 120 mph like it was going 50...lol

Yeah, they're pretty ridiculous.. When I first bought mine the owner at the time took me on a ride before I test drove it to show what it can do and all the little quirks.. He took a 90 degree right turn at an intersection doing about 45-50 with ease and I about crapped myself! The car didn't even roll at all, was like a damn roller coaster.

I remember those RX's when I was in high school. You guys are right, they would take a turn like an F-16. Seemed to be able to get out of there own way too, from what I can remember anyway. Those were fuzzy times, lol.

Lol, yeah I remember being able to pull on an LT1 Vette with it.. And keep up with the LS1 Vettes.. (altitude didn't play nice with the N/A cars where I'm from).

rofl I did that once.. I was going 90 in a very sharp turn going onto the highway, I was glued to the pavement! So much so, with all that momentum and speed, it drove me straight into the guard rail! I was forced to turn my wheel the opposite direction quickly, which ended up with me doing a few 360's and smacking my rear into the rail, then straightening up..

that was pretty scary

I was 19 and my first car! Paid every dime of it with my own money...

yeah, it was a used car and $12,995 lol

Not so sure about such a low location of the turbo though.. yikes.. that car is low enough as it is. Hate to smack that snail on a speed bump!
