Damn, that Coyote motor is impressive. And it looks like Ford has finally learned to put together a decent auto trans. Nice work.
FWIW girls shouldn't be allowed to obtain driver licenses. This is proof.

11s without boltons? 12.7 to 11.9 is a LONG drop... DRs will likely get you under the 12.5 barrier consistently but I think 11s with just those mods would take negative DA and a 1.7 60ft, solid that is not. What other mods did you have planned that don't count as bolt on? Weight reduction?

Won't be running DR's, it will be M/T ET Streets or ET Drags and strip suspension set up

Now, is when it got fun and all the rest of runs were with traction control on.

Code,

Awesome times man! 12.7 is an awesome time and you also have a ton of room for improvement. It was your first time down in the car and you had a 2.1 60ft. With a nice tire and your current set up you could cut a 1.7-1.9 60ft which will drop you down atleast .2/.3. Your car is ready to go 12.4/12.5 pretty easily!

Throw in a few bolt ons and some suspension and you're definitely headed for the 11.s! Keep me posted and as always, let me know if you have any questions!

Best of luck... those cars move out... hitting those numbers with said mods would be extremely impressive.

I agree, 11's tune only will be impressive, the only thing that makes me sketchy about believe it, is that you've got an auto and i dont know how hard the auto's leave the line. if you cant leave the line hard enough to get a 1.6x 60' i dont know if you'll get that goal, might need a converter in it to 60' that good imo.

I'm only repeating what was announced over the PA, and what the owner claimed, so don't hold me accountable for any of what I'm about to post. First off, I was present at the track for this. It happened the weekend before last and the one before, in 70-80 degree air, about 800-1000' DA.

A 5.0 was claimed by the owner and the announcer to be BONE STOCK, except for the slicks it was wearing. I watched this guy make 5-6 attempts to run 11.99 each weekend. The first weekend he went 11.99 at 115. The next weekend he was back out there and the first pass got him an 11.7 at 115 (better DA, same weekend I went from 11.9 to 11.6). So you guys tell me, is the guy full of it or not? It was a manual, and he was snatching the gears, skirting every gear. All I know is I saw a CLAIMED stock 5.0 on slicks run 11.77-11.99 with tons of 12.0s.

Definitely had a tune.. No way he was running in the 11s with just slicks and absolutely nothing else done.. It's hard enough to break high 11s with tires and a tune..

We shall see. It's just a goal and only time will tell. I left the line right off idle and with the traction control on and cutting power when traction was lost, I'll have to see what sticky tires will do when I come outa the hole under a little more power.
