When I had my lowly 2 valve, I'd have to nearly beg cobra owners to run me, often times had to give them the hit or spot them out a couple cars. That was when my motor was STOCK and that was 03-04 cobras. The ones that did run my heads up got azz raped! (I have the videos to prove it)
I think JayC is also in Michigan. He's like me, he's always game for a race, but be prepared. I've been told it's never fun bringing a knife to a gun fight.
BTW I have no idea what you plan on running but don't think I wouldn't go to Michigan to race b/c I'm scared. As much as I love to race, that's too damn far. People come to visit Louisiana all the time so if you ever make it this way, holla at me. But I can pretty much guarantee you that next year my little import will be in the 9's... still NA.

I'm always down couple hundred on a race is fine
My car is a grudge car so no free runs that's why I always will go to Milan no et. Unless someone wants to get down on the street....

, so she's only going to get faster as I get better. I think I have about 15 passes under my belt, first pass ever was 11.34 @ 130, so I'm getting there. I may go next Wednesday, as is I should click off some .3-.4's, I might hit 135mph if I can get some good air. Once I hit 10.3's I'll do a more mods, then I'll be in the 9's.Let me know if you and JayC decide to run, I'll make a side bet of a couple hundred.
