Default Modded GT500 0-60, quater mile etc

Hey I'm looking to buy a GT500 and I wonder how fast will it do the quater mile, 0-60mph and 0-120mph, 100-200mph and so on, with aftermarket cold air intake, smaller superchargerpulley, better flowing exhaust and a tune if that is neccesary? Of course on our swedish 98 octane fuel. Also what HP will it make at the crank and at the real wheels. The years I have been looking at is all the GT500 except the 2013 it's to expensive here in Sweden right now.

Thank you
Best Regards Fredrik from sweden

There are too many variables here to give you an accurate answer. You would definitely need a tune if you change the supercharger pulley or add headers. In most instances, you would not need a tune for a cold air intake. It usually would help though. From 2007-2009, a stock gt500 had 500hp. In 2010, it was upped to 540hp. In 2011 and 2012, it had 550hp. All of those numbers are at the crank. Personally, I would start with the suspension mods. You are already pretty traction limited from the beginning.

Thank you. By exhaust I dont mean headers, just removing/replacing silencer. I dont need a exact number on the hp. Will these mods and a clean run get me under the 4sec 0-60 maybe? I read somewhere that the 2014 should do 0-60 in 3.1sec and thats really sick altrought they got 662 hp and some other mods compared to the older. Just some numbers on how much hp you got and some times, and which mods

Regards

for CAI in most cases you will need a new tune. There are far too many variables....

11gt is right and all of these 0-60 and 1/4 mile times etc all are heavily dependent on what tires your using and the surface you are trying on, along with skill since GT500's dont come in automatic The weather also matters.

Power is a fine question to ask but i dont know much about the gt500's i know more about 5.0's

that 3.1 second 0-60 isnt going to happen on a normal road with normal tires though, i would suspect. traction wouldnt be good enough.

I know what you guys mean and I know there is problem with traction with that much HP, I just thought it would be nice to know some times, and when talking 0-60, quarter mile and other times about your car you always take the best one and that´s what Im intrested in. A 0-60 under 4sec, quarter mile in the 11s and a 60-130 under 10sec? Really intrested if the modded GT500 beats the BMW M6 and Nissan GT-R, no chance against the GT-R 0-60 and on the track..

Wouldn't jump so quick as to say a modded gt500 wouldn't beat a GTR 0-60 or on the track. I've beaten an E85 full bolt-on 620awhp GTR from 40-140 by a couple cars. Same result with a supercharged C6 Vette. These things respond very well to mods

As I said before, the big problem is traction. A 2010 gt500 super snake with 750 hp and 710 ft*lbs of torque achieved a 0-60 of 4.1 seconds. The 2013 gt500 has many changes over a 2012 gt500 which contribute to its ability to get a 3.5 second 0-60. Here is a listing of the major changes between 2012 and 2013: http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/ind.../#entry1365176 . Your gt500 is going to need suspension mods, wider back wheels, and drag radials to get you where you want to go.

A new stock GTR has a 0-60 of 2.7 seconds.I don't really know how a gt500 gets down that far. From a dig, a GTR is hard to beat by anything which doesn't cost a lot more due to AWD. From a roll, I can see your modded gt500 taking a GTR.
